Massey Miracle Run Foundation

The Massey Miracle Run Foundation was founded on the basis of training young individuals between the ages of 6 and 18 years in structural track and field events. The organization is a 501 c(3) tax exempt organization founded by Ms. Detrick Massey. The ultimate goal of the Massey Miracle Run Foundation is to help mold disadvantaged youth and young adults into a healthy lifestyle and persevering through endurance while managing a positive lifestyle and academic success. Although this organization takes a lot of time and practice, the coaches of Massey Miracle Foundation do it at no cost. The Massey Miracle Run Foundation opens the door to youth from the Eastside, Southside, and Bastrop areas. The organization not only focuses on track and field skills, but we strive to help each youth individual maintain stability, social and behavioral structure while promoting integrity and dignity. The foundation has grasped our youth into becoming productive citizens.

The runners of the organization have prospered beyond measures. Last year, 43 youth individuals expressed pure talent in the Regional competition that took place in Huntsville, Alabama. They were qualified to attend the National Junior Olympics in Kansas City, Missouri over the summer course. While at the National Junior Olympics that took place July 7-9, 2016, the organization worked hard and did exceptionally well. Some consider us to be the “Dream Team” because of the profound faith to continue and prosper through every struggle faced.
